Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic preparation of water for injection containing 0.9% (9 mg/mL) of benzyl alcohol added as a bacteriostatic preservative. This pharmaceutical-grade diluent is designed solely for parenteral use to dilute or dissolve compatible drugs. The inclusion of benzyl alcohol allows for repeated withdrawals from the same vial. Note: This product is dispensed with a maximum Beyond-Use Date (BUD) or Expiration of 3 months from the date of receipt or preparation to ensure optimal preservative efficacy. Each vial is individually labeled with a unique Lot Number for quality control and traceability.
