Aplisol® (Product #42023010401) is a sterile, aqueous solution of a purified protein fraction (PPD) derived from Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is the clinical standard used for intradermal Mantoux skin testing to aid in the detection of tuberculosis infection. Each 1 mL multi-dose vial contains sufficient solution for 10 standardized tests. The formulation is stabilized with polysorbate 80 and buffered with potassium and sodium phosphates for immediate diagnostic use.
