Albahealth™ Thermoflect® Heat Reflective Blanket, 48″ x 84″, Silver

Albahealth™ Thermoflect® Heat Reflective Blanket, 48″ x 84″, Silver

The Thermoflect® Heat Reflective Blanket (Product #5100-700) is a specialized thermal management tool designed to prevent hypothermia by banking a patient’s endogenous radiant heat. Utilizing NASA-pioneered technology, this ultra-lightweight blanket prevents convective heat loss without the use of electricity or external heat sources. The exterior is made of a durable reflective material, while the interior is lined with a soft, patient-friendly surface for increased comfort. Its non-conductive and radiolucent properties allow it to remain with the patient throughout the entire perioperative journey, including X-ray and MRI. Sold in cases of 25 blankets.

Key Features

  • Radiant Heat Retention: Reflects the body’s natural heat back to the core, providing an effective first line of defense against surgical site infections related to hypothermia.

  • Electricity-Free: Offers a cost-effective alternative to forced-air warming systems, requiring no power cables or heavy equipment.

  • Clinical Versatility: Durable enough for patient transport yet thin enough to not interfere with clinical access or imaging equipment.

  • Hypoallergenic Construction: Lightweight and non-irritating, ensuring safety for patients with sensitive skin or latex allergies.

⚠️ Handling: For single patient use. Store in a cool, dry place. Ensure the blanket is properly draped to minimize “wind chill” or convective air currents from reaching the patient.
