⚠️ Preservative Hazard (Benzyl Alcohol Warning): Contains benzyl alcohol as a preservative. Benzyl alcohol is associated with serious adverse events, including “gasping syndrome” and death in neonates and low-birth-weight infants. Do not use in neonates, infants, or premature infants.
⚠️ Infection Masking & Immunosuppression: Corticosteroids may mask some signs of infection, and new infections may appear during their use. Avoid abrupt cessation following long-term therapy to prevent acute adrenal insufficiency.
